About my humanistic, person-centred approach

Humanistic psychology emphasises the wholeness and the potentials of being human. This approach is a mixture of many forward-looking techniques.

Personally it means to me that every life event and crisis is an opportunity to grow. You may feel I am now trivialising the pain so it is important to clarify: there is room and time for emotions such as anger, pain or grief.

At the same time working with these feelings will lead you to feel content and you will be able to accept your unpleasant experiences as part of your life and potentially see their benefits.

“Celebrate uniqueness, respect boundaries and continue learning”

My motto

I am working with many different test and questionaries as a simple way to collect information about your mental state and your circumstances.

You may find difficult to talk about certain topics so I encourage you to express yourself with any creative ways (journaling, drawing, painting, sculpting etc.).

During our sessions I like to use metaphors in order to understand better your feelings and thoughts. Role play situations are the best way to practice new or forgotten skills in a safe environment.

My techniques are mostly based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and subvarieties of that. I also use Narrative Therapy and Play therapy elements for younger people.
